Safe House is a private, non-profit, faith-based social service agency located in Youngstown, Ohio, Trumbull County.  Safe House provides services to adolescents and their families.  We also provide a non-institutional, safe setting for troubled adolescents who are in need of placement.  Shelter, food, education, and interventions designed to help troubled youth are also provided.  Safe House is licensed through the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services.

Programs and Services

Safe House, Inc. Residential Services Division is designed to help children and adolescents devlop a purpose and set goals for their lives. Along with this, leadership opportunities are available vie the work program of Safe House Ministries. Therapeutic treatment is centered on a team model approach. The program currently accepts males and females from the ages of 12 through 17. Upon entrance into the program, clients are assessed in order to evaluate needs and an Individual Service Plan is developed. Youths are held accountable for the attainment of their goals. Safe House empowers all clients and their families to make healthy, appropriate decisions.
